Scott Mason will be at Grandpa's Kitchen in Littleon for his book signing on Friday, December 21st from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Scott Mason is an American author, reporter for WRAL-TV and host of the Southeast Emmy award winning Tarheel Traveler' since 2007'. Mason authored Tar Heel Traveler Eats: Food Journeys across North Carolina in 2014. and Tar heel traveler : journeys across North Carolina. in 2013.

As the Tar Heel Traveler, Mason has journeyed many miles across North Carolina, and is always amazed at what he finds — the fascinating places and colorful characters. Mason tells those stories Monday through Thursday nights at 5:55 p.m. on WRAL-TV. He also writes about them in his book, Tar Heel Traveler: Journeys Across North Carolina.

Mason likes to stop and eat when he travels — there's nothing better than a good, down-home restaurant. He writes about those mom-and-pop classics in his second book, Tar Heel Traveler Eats: Food Journeys Across North Carolina.

Mason has had great fun writing both books and thinks you’ll enjoy them. You might even work up an appetite and feel inspired to hit the road yourself.
