The following toy drives have been set:

Northampton Farm Bureau

The Northampton County Farm Bureau Board in cooperation with the Northampton County Insurance Service is holding their annual toy drive for foster care and needy families.  

All donations — new and unwrapped toys — can be dropped off at the insurance offices in Conway, Gaston, and Jackson.  

The toy drive will last from now until December 13.

Edward Jones

Spencer Nichols, a local Edward Jones financial advisor, is supporting the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program by using his office as a drop-off location for this year's toy drive.

Local residents may help needy children in the area by bringing in a new, unwrapped toy to the office, 409 Becker Drive in Roanoke Rapids, during regular business hours beginning today through December 11. Monetary gifts cannot be accepted.

"With the holiday season around the corner, we are all getting ready for the festivities," Nichols said. "And as this is the season of giving, now is a great time to remember the less fortunate in our community."
