The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is investigating a business break-in which occurred in June.

Chief Bobby Martin said the break-in occurred at the Roanoke Rapids Business Center, which is located in the Oakland Shopping Center.

A large drop box safe, a small drop box safe and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the business shortly before 8:45 the morning of June 22. The door to the cashier’s office was also damaged.

The gallery contains photos of a vehicle which was believed to have been used in the commission of the crime.
