The Center for Energy Education will be accepting new and gently used clean coats for children of all ages.

The coats will be donated to The John 3:16 Center and Hannah’s Closet.

The items can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the center located at 460 Airport Road outside Roanoke Rapids off Highway 158.

The drop-off bin will be located at the front entrance and will be there through December 17.

The John 3:16 Center is guided by Christian faith to address the impact of poverty and trauma on families with children in Halifax, Northampton, and Warren counties through advocacy, education, empowerment, and community collaboration.

Donations to Hannah’s Closet go towards helping the survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
