Vidant North Hospital is accepting letters of intent for grants to support projects in the program’s health-related focus areas:

Access to care and services — includes transportation

Healthy lifestyles — nutrition, food security, physical activity and chronic disease prevention and management

Behavioral health

Substance use and misuse

Maternal fetal and infant health

The grants will be awarded as part of the 2021-2022 Community Benefit Grants Program. The grant cycle period is July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.  

Grant funding will be restricted to Halifax and Northampton counties and will not be awarded for medical research.  

Only government entities or non-profit organizations with 501(c)(3) status are eligible for funding.

Letters of intent are being accepted through an electronic process by visiting this link to access this process.  

There will be a description of the grants program and a link to the letter of intent process.  Ensure that you select the Vidant North Hospital’s Community Benefit Grants Program.  

Letters of intent must be submitted online by December 15.

Funding for the Community Benefit Grants Program is provided by Vidant Health.  

The program is administered in partnership with Vidant North Hospital and the Vidant Health Foundation in collaboration with a grants review committee comprised of local community members.
