Halifax County Schools announced today the interim appointment of Jewel Marrow as Enfield Middle School acting principal.

She will serve while current principal Teicher Patterson is on medical leave.

Marrow started her career with Halifax County Schools in 1991 and has served as classroom teacher, instructional coach and assistant principal.

For the last two years she has served as assistant principal for Inborden Elementary and Enfield Middle where she has continuously shared her passion for students, teaching and learning and promoting high quality STEAM education, the school system said.

“We are excited for Jewel Marrow,” Superintendent Eric Cunningham said. “Her enthusiasm and dedication will serve the students and staff well at Enfield Middle STEAM Academy.”
