The Roanoke Rapids police department has identified two women involved in a fight at Walmart Wednesday night.

Now, according to Investigator Gorton Williams, the police department is trying to get in contact with the two women in the photo gallery to talk to them about the matter in an effort to learn what transpired..

rrspin did not properly review and edit the initial press release sent out by the police department and we regret the error.

Williams said the police department is continuing to investigate the matter. No arrests have been made.

The initial press release stated the following:

The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the individuals in the attached photos. 

The Police Department is currently investigating a case involving a physical altercation that occurred on May 6th, 2020, around 7:11 pm, at the Walmart Supercenter, 251 Premier Blvd. The individuals were engaged in a dispute with two other females that were identified.
