The City County Drug Task Force is looking for a man on two marijuana-related counts following a raid this morning at Five Points Mobile Home Park.

Agent C. Dixon said in a statement Markell De'Shawn Harris, 25, is wanted for possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

Dixon secured a search warrant for the residence where marijuana and related paraphernalia was seized shortly before 8 a.m.

The task force encourages Harris to surrender and encourages anyone with information on his whereabouts to call Halifax County Central Communications at 252-583-1991.

Meanwhile, shortly after 9 this morning, agents followed up on a complaint at P&J Drive where, with assistance from task force Lieutenant H.G. Phillips and his dog, Josh, 56 grams of marijuana was located.

Dixon said in the statement he will continue to follow up on the matter.
