The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted breaking and entering of a building located at the Parks and Recreation basketball courts at 630 East Railroad Street in Enfield.

The attempted break-in occurred during the evening of May 18, according to Detective J.M. Clark.

The last video still includes a photo of a person not involved in the attempt who came up when the ones involved spotted him. The two involved began playing basketball with the person who walked up.
