The Roanoke Rapids Seafood and Shag Festival has been moved to Kirkwood Adams for this evening.
Main Street Development Director Christina Caudle said ground conditions at Centennial Park are not suitable to hold the event outside due to this week's rain.
The event will begins from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will feature the music of Steve Owens and Summertime.
