The City County Drug Task Force arrested one man today and is looking for another in separate cases.
Agents served search warrants in Littleton and the Roanoke Rapids in the afternoon hours.
Agents are currently looking for Terrell Lamont Simmons, 25, who is wanted after a search of a residence on Sam Powell Dairy Road around 3 p.m. today.
Halifax County Sheriff Wes Tripp said this evening agents are concentrating their efforts on locating Simmons in the Roanoke Rapids area.
The sheriff said in a statement that during the search of the residence by Lieutenant H.G. Phillips and his dog, Josh, approximately 16.8 grams of crack cocaine were seized. Agents also seized two digital scales, plastic baggies, a box of plastic bags, a razor blade and a knife.
Simmons is wanted on warrants taken out by Agent D.J. Hundley for felony possession of schedule II controlled substance; possession with intent to sell or deliver schedule II controlled substance; maintaining a dwelling and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Meanwhile, shortly after 1:30 p.m., Captain A.M. Harris arrested and charged James Dennis Jackson, 47, of Littleton for simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
During the search of the Bowers Road residence marijuana and several items of drug paraphernalia were seized, which included three homemade crack pipes.
Corporal M. Brown and his dog Mallie assisted in the search.
Jackson was also served with an outstanding warrant for arrest for misdemeanor larceny and obtaining property by false pretense in an investigation by Detective B.C. Griffin.
Griffin obtained warrants on Jackson during an October investigation.
Jackson was confined to the Halifax County Detention Center with a $500 secured bond for the drug charges and was given an April 22 court date.
He was given a $1,000 secured bond for the larceny warrant with an April 14 court date.
