The Roanoke Valley Chamber of Commerce has announced the entertainment lineup for this Saturday's Ducky Derby at River Falls Park in Weldon.

The festival will feature live performances from the following local performers:

• Belinda Dickerson/Southern Bluegrass Gospel

• Youth 4 Christ/Gospel

• Unbroken/Southern Rock, Rock, & Country

• Vernon Futrell/Soul & Gospel

• Ellen Draper/Popular & Original

• Given’s Dance Studio/Dance Performance

• Holly Moore/Popular and Standards

• Meredith Schmaltz with VCC Youth Drama Club/Popular & Classic Disney Songs

The festival begins at 10 a.m. and runs through 3 p.m.

“The local performers will cover a great variety of genres and styles that is sure to please all interests,” chamber President and CEO Allen Purser said. “Several performers will be available before and after performances to speak with the crowd and with CDs available for purchase.”

Tequila Sunrise Music, located in Gaston, will be providing sound for all performances. “The Roanoke Valley Chamber of Commerce is excited and fortunate to include Tequila Sunrise in the Ducky Derby’s local talent showcase,” Purser said.

Duck adoptions are still available for a chance to win a $2,000 cash prize. The rubber duck race will take place at 2:30 p.m. Ducks may be purchased at various businesses displaying the Ducky Derby sign or on the day of the festival.
