The Roanoke Valley United Way officially kicked off the 2015 Campaign on Tuesday at 51 Sycamore.

The Board has set a goal of $95,000 and the following seven agencies will receive funding in 2015: American Red Cross, Boys and Girls Clubs of Halifax County, Eastern Carolina Council Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scout Council of Coastal Carolina, Hospice of Halifax County, Northampton County Home Delivered Meals, and Roanoke Valley Adult Day Center.

During the campaign kick-off, President Jon Burns asked agency representatives to share how the Roanoke Valley United Way benefits the programs.

All agencies agreed that support for our local campaign makes them better able to provide programs to residents of the Roanoke Valley.
