An early Sunday morning drive turned into trouble for an Enfield man who was reportedly weaving on Low Ground Road and threw out a container with 20 hits of crack cocaine.

Major Scott Hall of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office said Corporal Dennis Coley made the stop around 3 a.m. when he reportedly noticed a man identified as Jeffery Clark Jr., 25, driving erratically.

While approaching the silver Impala, Coley witnessed a plastic bottle being thrown from the passenger window.

He located the bottle after identifying the driver, who was charged with possession of cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and driving while license revoked.

Clark was jailed on $10,000 secured bond and assigned a July 2 court date.
