For the second time in less than a month, U.S. Cellular on Premier Boulevard was broken into and cell phones were stolen.

Roanoke Rapids police said the latest break-in was discovered shortly after 9 a.m. Saturday when someone called to report the front door glass had been broken out.

Captain Andy Jackson said investigation by Officer Roy Ball showed a large rock was apparently used to smash the glass. Several cell phones were taken.

Jackson said police are investigating to determine whether this break-in was related to one last month.
