A house at 405 Mosby Avenue in Littleton was spared any significant damage this afternoon following a stove fire.
Training Officer Trey Evans of the Littleton Fire Department said firefighters received the call around noon, and responded with assistance from Davie, Longbridge and Macon fire departments.
Firefighters observed light smoke coming from the north side of the house, and had the fire contained within 10 minutes.
Damage was contained to the stove and range.
The American Red Cross arrived to assist with accommodations during repairs and also assisted incleanup.
