A Littleton woman was charged this weekend with allegedly stealing a financial card and using it to make around $200 in purchases.

Detective O.L. Wiltsie of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said a report on March 3 referenced financial card fraud.

His investigation led to the arrest of 33-year-old Latisha Northern on a count of financial card theft and obtaining property by false pretense.

Northern knew the victim, Wiltsie said.

She received a $1,000 bond and has a June 26 court date.
