Flossie McGee, the aunt of Michael Shawn Williamson, who has warrants on him that stemmed from a run-in and alleged assault of his former wife, said the family wants to know his whereabouts.

Williamson, McGee said, suffers from Type 2 diabetes and is a dialysis patient. "He could fall out a any time."

The family fears he is dead. "He can't live without dialysis. He needs some help."

The Rocky Mount Telegram reported police responded to reports that he assaulted his ex-wife about two hours after the missing person report was filed.

The newspaper quoted police reports as saying he was reported missing from the 2100 block of Travis Run by his parents.

The Telegram further reported that he was seen around 6:30 p.m. when his ex-wife reported he assaulted her in the 100 block of Biltmore Place by allegedly striking her with his 2004 Nissan Maxima and pointing a gun at her before fleeing the scene.

Police obtained warrants against him for attempted first-degree murder, felony hit and run causing serious injury and a domestic violence protective order violation by use of a deadly weapon, the newspaper reported.

Williamson is described as a 5-foot-7 black man, weighing 160 pounds with a light complexion. His gold or brown vehicle is registered in North Carolina with the tag BHB-8627.
