A Roanoke Rapids woman reported missing since Tuesday was found safe with her family in Esperance, New York.

Jessica Lynn Kaye and her family had checked into a hotel in the New York village late today.

Roanoke Rapids police this evening called it a spur of the moment decision to go to New York and police found her bicycle at Chockoyotte Park.

No foul play was involved, police said.

Captain Andy Jackson, Lieutenant O.L. Morgan and Detective Frankie Griffin investigated the case.
