To welcome the store to the community, there will be a ribbon-cutting event on August 28 beginning at 3 p.m.
The event will feature speeches from the company’s executive team and community leaders, live music from local radio station, 99.5 WYTT-FM, and a donation to Angel’s Closet, Inc. to offer support to the local community.
Badcock Home Furniture &more operates 366 stores in eight southeastern states and carries a complete line of home furnishings, appliances, electronics, and more.
The store is located in Roanoke Rapids Plaza in the former Staples building. It has 11,585 square feet of retail space and employs eight associates.
