A Garysburg man is nearly $11,000 shorter and will have a future probable cause hearing in Northampton County following a raid last week.

Captain Brenda Burnette of the Northampton County Sheriff’s office said officers seized $10,999 in cash, 456 grams of marijuana and a .380 handgun following a raid on Lebanon Church Road in the Garysburg area Friday afternoon.

The search was fueled by citizen complaints and a lengthy investigation that led to the arrest of Daryl James Bradley, 27, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by a felon and maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance.

Bradley was released on a $22,000 bond and had his first court appearance today, Burnette said.

Burnette said it was unclear how long Bradley has allegedly been in the drug trade or what level dealer he might be. Intelligence during the case revealed steady traffic in and out of the residence.
