The Royal Palace Theatre will have its first two big concerts of 2013 this weekend with blues artist Theodis Ealey on Saturday and Southern gospel super group The Isaacs on Sunday.

Known well for his crossover hit Stand Up In It, Ealey is an award-winning blues singer and guitarist from Natchez, Mississippi. He also gained an international audience following his role in the Tyler Perry movie, Daddy’s Little Girls in 2007.

Also appearing with Ealey are soul and R&B artists Lacee and Lebrado. The show starts Saturday night at 8 p.m.

Then on Sunday at 6 p.m., The Palace kicks off its Gospel Series with GMA Dove-winning group The Isaacs, who perform frequently at the Grand Ole Opry and are active members on the Gaither Homecoming videos.

“ You’ll notice with each scheduled event that we are focused on presenting all genres and attracting all demographics to this community theatre,” said Director Kaine Riggan. “Come as often as you’d like, of course, but if we can just get each resident to buy one ticket per year, this theatre can and will be the success it was built to be.”

Single tickets to The Isaacs are only $15 but a combo series ticket is also available for $5, which also includes The McKameys on April 5 and Jason Crabb on May 18.

Overnight packages and free shuttle service are also available at the Hilton Garden Inn next door to the theatre.

Tickets for Ealey’s Stand Up In It Revue range from $15 to $20. Tickets to either concert may be purchased in person at the theatre located off Interstate 95 at exit 171 24 hours a day, by phone at 252-536-5577 or online at www.RoyalPalaceTheatre.com.
