The search warrants that led to the arrests of suspects allegedly tied to the October 28 Subway robbery also resulted in two drug-related arrests.

Major Tommy Hathaway of the Roanoke Rapids Police Department said the search warrant executed at West Fourth Street led to the arrests of Joy Elizabeth Lawrence, 20, and Tray’Von Cotton, 21.
Lawrence, the girlfriend of Hakeem Cotton, was charged with maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was jailed on $1,500 and has a December 12 court date.

Cotton
Tray’Von Cotton was charged with sell and deliver marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and served an order for arrest for failure to appear.
He was jailed on $8,500 bond and has the same court date as Lawrence.
