A Rocky Mount man was arrested last month on an outstanding breaking and entering warrant from the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy M. Brown began an investigation after the sheriff’s office received a report of a breaking and entering in the Enfield area on September 10.

Detective R. Somogyi said Brown located several witnesses. Somogyi continued the investigation and obtained warrants for Anthony Hendricks, 24.

Rocky Mount police arrested Hendricks last week on the Halifax County warrants and he was jailed in Edgecombe County on $5,500 bond.

He has a November 14 court date to answer to charges of breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods.

Somogyi said investigation continues and additional arrests and charges are pending.
