A Northampton County woman was charged today with larceny by employee from an alleged theft that occurred on August 10.
Detective H.L. Williams of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said Cynthia Sellers allegedly stole several thousand dollars from the retail company she worked at in Roanoke Rapids.
He declined to get into specifics of how the money was stolen.
She was jailed on $6,000 bond and has a December 19 court date.
