The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office is investigating several break-ins and attempted break-ins in the area of Highway 301 and Highway 561 in Halifax.

Detective O.L. Wiltsie said in a news release a recent break-in resulted in the theft of 30 Timex watches.

The watches were multiple colors including red, green, yellow, black, orange and purple.
