The Town of Weldon will be hosting its 10th Annual Independence Day Celebration June 30 at River Falls Park beginning at 5 p.m.
This free, family event will have food, live musical entertainment and fireworks.
The Main Event Band is back by popular demand and will provide the live musical entertainment beginning at 6 p.m. with beach, Motown and Blues music.
The Weldon Fire Department will be selling barbecue chicken plates for $7.00 at the event site.
Food vendors will be serving a wide array of food such as hotdogs, hamburgers, ice cream, funnel cakes and snow cones.
Abrams Amusements will be there with rides and games for children.

For the finale, Zambelli Internationale will present a fireworks display at dark.
This event is organized by the Weldon Recreation Advisory Board and made possible by the support of local businesses.
For safety reasons, do not bring pets, alcohol, glass containers, fireworks, or weapons
