A search warrant executed this morning led to the seizure of 317 grams of marijuana and the arrest of an Enfield man.

Halifax County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Agent A. Harris said agents along with uniformed officers went to the home of Travis Jay Richardson on Sunday Drive.

The officers seized the marijuana and charged Richardson with felony possession of schedule VI, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was jailed on $20,000 bond and has an August 1 court date.
