A second person wanted in the shooting of a 14-year-old juvenile earlier this month surrendered to Roanoke Rapids police.

Weldon police Chief Chris Davis said Wilson Dominique Green, 23, of Weldon, surrendered Wednesday shortly before 8 p.m.

Davis said the victim in the case has been treated and is doing well. He said it was unclear whether those charged were familiar with the victim and motive continues to be investigated.

It is possible another person could be arrested, Davis said.

Green was charged with attempted murder, discharging a firearm into occupied property causing severe bodily injury and possession of a firearm by a felon.

He received a $250,000 secured bond and August 7 court date.

Last week Jesse Jamar Arrington was charged with the same counts as Green in the July 2 shooting which occurred on Corbitt Drive.
