Investigation of an April 21 breaking and entering has led to the arrest of a Roanoke Rapids man.

Detective R. Somogyi of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said the department received a report a storage building in the Roanoke Rapids area was broken into.

Investigation led to the arrest of Alex Fox, 23, who was charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods.

Fox was jailed on $5,000 bond and has a June 27 court date.
