A Halifax area man has been charged with allegedly selling a stolen video game to a gaming store, according to the Halifax County Sheriff's Office.
Detective R. Rooks charged Quentin Hughes, 19, with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, possession of stolen goods, obtaining property by false pretense and attempted breaking and entering.
The first charges stem from Hughes allegedly breaking into a house in November and stealing an NBA 2K12 video game and then selling it to GameStop.
The charges of attempted breaking and entering stem from an attempt to enter a residence but failing to do so.
Hughes was jailed on $10,000 bond and has a January 25 court date.
