An early Sunday morning shooting left no one injured and police looking for a suspect identified as a 31-year-old Roanoke Rapids man.

At least two shots were fired from outside a house at 205 Medlin Street shortly before 3:30 a.m.

According to investigation by Roanoke Rapids Police Officer Chris Babb, the victim, whose house was shot at, and the suspect, Tarvis Marquette Price, of Rook Street, got into a physical struggle after Price had been arguing with the victim's sister.

Price left after the struggle and allegedly fired at least two shots into the house from across the street. The caliber or type of weapon was not known, Captain Andy Jackson said.

There was no detail of the damage of the house but there were no injuries from the shooting or the scuffle.

Warrants have been obtained for Price's arrest on charges of discharging a weapon in the city limits, shooting into an occupied dwelling and possessing and concealing a handgun.

Price was last seen running toward Powell Street.
