Two people are now in custody following a larceny that occurred last week on Highway 48 in the Littleton area.

The last arrest in the case was Friday when Detective James Matthews of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office charged Ryan Scott Vick, 19, of Roanoke Rapids.
The first arrest in the case was made the day of the crime when Matthews said the quick response of a citizen led to the arrest of Justin Alan Warren, 18, of Roanoke Rapids.
On May 21 the sheriff's office responded to the larceny call. A vehicle was seen leaving the area and the citizen got the tag number.
Matthews was given the information and located the vehicle in the Roanoke Rapids area.
Further investigation lead to the recovery of the stolen property. Vick was taken into custody Friday by Matthews and Deputy J. Clark without incident and taken to the Halifax County Magistrate's Office.
Matthews charged Vick with conspiracy to commit felony larceny, felony larceny and possession of stolen goods and property.
Vick was given a $3,000 bond and placed in the Halifax County Jail. Vick has a court date of June 29.
Warren was taken into custody last week by Matthews without incident and taken to the Halifax County Magistrates Office. Lieutenant G. Evans and Clark assisted in the arrest and processing of Warren, who was charged with conspiracy to commit felony larceny, felony larceny and possession of stolen goods and property.
