Roanoke Rapids police are investigating a break-in at Hoffman & Arthur Dentists in which a bay window was broken and items taken.

The crime was called in shortly after 4:15 this morning and police discovered a bay window at the Becker Drive location had been broken with two rocks. Part of the window, located on the east side of the building, was removed by hand, Captain Andy Jackson said.

A 32-inch flat screen TV, an HP laptop and an iPad were taken. Total value was $1,700.
