A Roanoke Rapids man sustained multiple stab wounds during a dispute at an apartment in the 200 block of Roanoke Avenue Saturday morning.

The man was transported to Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville where he was listed in stable condition, according to Captain Andy Jackson of the Roanoke Rapids Police Department.
