Roanoke Rapids police Tuesday released a list of items allegedly stolen by Lawrence Dustin “01” Carroll during a string of car break-ins in the Harris Street area.

They are items which the owners can claim by calling the police department at 252-533-2810.

Detective Jeff Baggett said Carroll faces an additional count of misdemeanor larceny and possession of stolen goods.

Roanoke Rapids police officers Christopher Jordan and Mike Moseley received a call shortly after 1:30 from an anonymous caller that Carroll was seen running in the 500 block of Harris Street with a purse. He allegedly tossed two radar detectors in a trash can.

Further investigation led officers to find marijuana and paraphernalia on him.  At his house at 502 Harris Street the officers found items allegedly linking him to other motor vehicle break-ins in the area, including a digital camera, coins, a purse and glass smoking pipe.

Carroll, 21, was charged with six counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle, six counts of larceny of a motor vehicle, six counts of possession of stolen goods, one count possession of marijuana and one count possession of paraphernalia.
