The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office today released stills of a man who broke into the New Dixie Mart on Highway 158 in Roanoke Rapids.

The stills accompany a surveillance video, which can be seen by clicking this link. The footage shows a man entering the store with a plastic garbage bag around 2 a.m. Sunday when the store was closed.

The man goes behind the counter and then leaves, the bag full of $600 worth of cigarettes.
