A search is being conducted at Bluebird Point on Lake Gaston for a missing person.
Lieutenant George Evans of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said a group of teenagers went swimming around 11 p.m. Friday.
When they got back to the boat one of the members of the group was missing.
Roanoke Valley Rescue Squad’s dive team is at the scene, Evans said.
