A man who allegedly fondled a child was arrested Tuesday for indecent liberties with a minor.
Detective Roy Rooks of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said Deputy Joe Puhak was called to Highway 561 to investigate a molestation case.
Curtis Williams Jr., 35, of Halifax, was charged following an investigation by the deputy and jailed on $25,000 bond.
Rooks said Williams allegedly fondled the child. He has a September 14 court date.
