The Weldon Police Department wants to talk to a man about the February 19 robbery of the Blue Flame.

Captain James Avens said Calvin Leon Williams Jr., 23, of the Roanoke Rapids area, may frequent the Weldon projects

The robbery occurred shortly before 11 p.m. when a person described as a black male wearing a ski mask and carrying a gun entered the store.

The man demanded money from the clerk while two customers were inside. No one was hurt.

The man left with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen on foot headed to  First Street. He was further described as standing 5 feet, 7 inches tall.
