A 24-year-old Hollister man has been charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault.
Detective Jonathan Merritt of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office charged Lorne Jareal Lynch Tuesday, the same day the victim reported unwanted sexual acts were performed on her.
Through further investigation charges were filed on Lynch and he was jailed on a $15,000 secured bond pending a June 9 court date.
