The girlfriend of a man who killed himself following the March 25 bank robbery of First Citizens is wanted for aiding and abetting, Captain Andy Jackson said today.

Jennifer Latrice Stansbury faces three counts of aiding and abetting, two of them linked to her boyfriend, Nicolas Pierre Clark, holding two people hostage following the bank robbery.

The other charge is linked to allegedly aiding abetting the robbery of the bank. Jackson declined to elaborate.

He did say Stansbury allegedly called 911 to report her Tahoe was stolen from the East Tenth Street Blue Flame by a black male wearing a wig. She claimed the vehicle was last seen headed to Sonic. “Further investigation determined it was false,” Jackson said of the report. “It was believed to be made to free the robbery suspect from the house.”

A standoff with Clark at Patsy Albritton Street ended when Clark shot himself in the head.

Jackson said police have tried to locate Stansbury, who was on probation for drug charges and has apparently moved without telling her probation officer.
