The man wanted in an April 9 shooting on Henry Street was arrested in Wilmington Tuesday night.
Roanoke Rapids Deputy Police Chief Adam Bondarek said Joshue Medina, 23, was caught with assistance from the State Bureau of Investigation and by using what he described as “recent advances in technology.”
Roanoke Rapids detectives were expected to pick Medina up today. He was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury after he allegedly shot Calvin Alexander Richardson with a revolver.
Medina, who lives on Driftwood Lane, fled the scene in the 900 block of Henry Street. Richardson, 22, was taken to Halifax Regional Medical Center for treatment.
