The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is investigating a shooting which occurred Saturday around 10 p.m. in the 900 block of Henry Street.
Deputy Chief Adam Bondarek said a man in his 20s was shot in the chest and is in critical condition at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville. No one is in custody at this point.
