An Enfield man was arrested this morning on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and two orders for arrest for probation violations.
Captain Chuck Hasty of the Enfield Police Department said in a statement that around 6 this morning Officer C. Peaden responded to the 200 block of Hunter Street about an unauthorized use of a vehicle report.
The victim reported their vehicle was used without permission.
Further investigation by Lieutenant W. Murphy and Investigator T. Antunez led to the location of the vehicle, which was abandoned on 13 Bridges Road near Douglas Hill Farm Road. It was returned to the owner.
Antunez obtained warrants on JocNazi Q. Davis, 20.
Davis was located at his residence and taken into custody by Hasty, Murphy and Antunez.
He received a $1,000 bond on the unauthorized use warrant and a $1,650 bond on the probation violations.
He has May 21 and June 14 court dates.
