A Roanoke Rapids man already facing second-degree exploitation of a minor counts, was served warrants Tuesday for four counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, according to Major Anzell Harris of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office.
The new charges against Aaron Curtis Klock, 42, relate to his alleged possession of what the warrant describes as more than 200 realistic AI-generated photos of prepubescent girls engaged in sexual activity.

The warrants were based on an investigation by Roanoke Rapids Police Department Detective R.B. Biggerstaff. They were warrants that served as a supplement to three charges of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor last December. The second-degree charges relate to possession of photos of either young girls engaging in sexual activity or posing provocatively.
The RRPD warrants show the offense date as September of last year.
Klock has a disposition hearing on the initial charges Thursday, according to court records, and a March 26 district court date on the new charges.
He remains in the Halifax County Detention Center without the opportunity for bond.
