Historic Halifax State Historic Site invites the public to the upcoming Labors of Halifax event on September 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Historic interpreters will be demonstrating trade skills from the 18th and 19th centuries. Some of the trades being demonstrated include gunsmithing, clock making, pottery, printing, beer brewing, tavern keeping, and sewing. 

The Bradford-Denton House, owned and operated by the Historical Halifax Restoration Association, will also be open and showcasing its living history kitchen and blacksmith shop. The Royal White Hart Lodge #2 will also be open for tours during the day.
