A policy advisor specializing in solar development in rural areas will lead a free, hourlong virtual presentation to share information about the role of planning and zoning in the process.
The Center for Energy Education will host a webinar Friday, June 27, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. EST, featuring Connie Neininger of the Center for Infrastructure and Economic Development in Indiana, who will discuss Planning and Zoning 101.

She is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with an AS degree in business administration and management and the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute.
“This webinar launches a series of upcoming hour long sessions that will inform community stakeholders of the importance of infrastructure needs within its economic development equation,” said C4EE Executive Director Mozine Lowe. “Please join us in this discussion to enable sustainable, long-term economic growth initiatives for rural residents and businesses.”
The webinar is free and open to the public and will include an opportunity to ask questions and engage with Neininger after the presentation.
