Towns located along Highway 301, are planning for this year's 13th Annual 301 Endless Yard Sale.

The sale will take place on June 20 and 21 — Friday and Saturday.

The participating towns are Weldon, Halifax, Enfield, Rocky Mount, Wilson, Kenly, Selma, Smithfield, Four Oaks, Micro, Benson, and Dunn.

Along the 100-mile stretch of highway between Weldon and Dunn the communities join together with vendors offering deals, antiques, collectibles, and more.

Suggested times are from 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. daily.

Reports from townships and vendors who participated in last year's 301 Endless Yard Sale show that the event continues to grow.

This year promises to be the biggest on record, organizers said.

"Riverside Mill is excited to be the northern starting point once again, offering our outdoor space to our community at no charge,” said John Carver, manager of Riverside Mill in Weldon, which is located adjacent to Highway 301.

Carver said shoppers can shop inside and outside the mill.

"Our goal with this event is always to bring visitors to the participating counties for the two-day sale,” said Lori Medlin, president and CEO of the Halifax County Convention and Visitors Bureau. “Each year continues to grow, and 2025 should be a record-breaking year. Anyone who wants to have a location on the map of vendors can call our office and get listed."

The visitors bureaus in all five counties will provide marketing support and help coordinate the event's organizers with each town.

Preparations are underway to welcome visitors invited to explore the country roads of Halifax, Nash, Wilson, Johnston, and Harnett counties to look for unique collectibles along the Highway 301 corridor.

Those planning to have a site along the route are encouraged to call 800-522-4282 to be put on the map.
