The Weldon Police Department reported the following, according to Chief Chris Davis:
A Roanoke Rapids man already facing charges for reportedly stealing Apple and other products from an Amazon warehouse in Raleigh will be charged with obtaining property by false pretense after selling the merchandise to a local store.
A Northampton County Sheriff’s Office deputy died late Wednesday night while responding to a call in the Gaston area.
A Wilson woman was charged Monday following a traffic stop in Enfield.
